Sharing origins with the Turkish Van, this breed differs only in lacking the signature Van markings on its pure white coat. Otherwise, the Turkish Vankedisi possesses similar characteristics to its relative. Exceptionally rare worldwide, this breed is highly esteemed in its native country. Like many white-furred cats, the Turkish Vankedisi has a genetic predisposition to deafness, but it remains an active and strong feline. Its affectionate nature makes it a delightful companion, though it requires ample attention.
