Weight : Weight-10–20lb (4.5–9kg)
Native to Russia, this forest cat has likely existed in various forms for centuries. However, breeding Siberians to a standard only began in the 1980s, with full breed recognition following a decade later after their introduction to the US. Though still uncommon, the Siberian is gaining admiration for its striking looks and captivating personality. This breed matures slowly, taking up to five years to reach full growth. Despite its sturdy build, the Siberian is highly athletic, with a love for leaping and playing.
