Shorthairs
Weight : Weight-9–14lb (4–6.5kg)
In the United States, breeders initially introduced this striking addition to the Oriental Shorthair group through crossbreeding, which included a Siamese and a bicolor American Shorthair. Meanwhile, in Europe, different breeding programs experimented with additional crosses to refine the desired appearance. The first Oriental Bicolor was introduced in the UK in 2004. With its coat displaying a vibrant range of colors in countless patterns, this cat’s striking look includes a colorpointed, or Siamese, variation. The breed standard dictates that the white patching must cover at least a third of the cat’s body, specifically including the legs, underside, and muzzle.
