About

Named after the Mekong River, which flows through Southeast Asia, the Mekong Bobtail is a naturally occurring short-tailed breed found across China, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. Though not widely known, this cat is striking with its strong build, colorpointed coat, and brilliant blue eyes reminiscent of the Siamese. Active and agile, the Mekong Bobtail excels at jumping and climbing. It is known as a quiet breed with a friendly, well-balanced temperament, making it an appealing companion.
