Shorthairs
Weight : Weight-9–18lb (4–8kg)
Black-and-white British Shorthairs were prized in the 19th century, when the breed was first developed, but they remained relatively uncommon. The modern Bicolor variation, available in multiple combinations of white and another shade, was not fully refined until the 1960s. Initially, breeding standards required color patches to be perfectly distributed across the head and body with flawless symmetry. These requirements have since been relaxed, yet the most striking Bicolors still display beautifully balanced markings.
